DX'ing with QRP : KG4CN in the log

Hi again,

That was yesterday evening on 20m : KG4CN (Gitmo) was up to S8 on my non-generous meter of the FT-920. He was transmitting on 14197, and spotted as listening on 14208.
I listened to him, but clearly heard he was now listening on 14189 (while still hearing guys calling on 14208 !)

So I took my chance with my 5W (already QSO him on 20/17m full power, new one on 17m) and did it ! I do like his way of DX'ing : I guess each time his RX frequency is spotted onto the cluster, he changes it drastically. This forces somehow the callers to well listen to what he says, which is what everybody is supposed to do, but hey....And this gives opportunity to "little pistols with QRP" to get him in the log. Needless to say this is new one for me in QRP conditions !

I hope to get him on the low bands too, but he ended too early last week for my wake-up time, HI! As he seems to leave Gitmo on the 21st, I may have some chances, if I get up earlier !!!!!
