S04R Western Sahara, episode 3

Hi all,

Well, things are approaching to the end, and I added 2 more QSO's with S04R in the log

- 40m SSB this morning
- 12m SSB QRP yesterday evening.

About yesterday evening, their signal were really up to 5/9 on 12m (this is why I tried QRP, which worked after a few calls only !)...while at the same time, they were very barely readable (in my noise, but there from times to times) on 10m...

A friend of mine, located at 150km west of me told me he could listen to them comfortably...Guys in south and East France made QSO with them on 10m...I'm not talking of Italian and spanish hams who were passing 5/9+++ reports !

Propagation was very sporadic and ultra selective, which sometimes works for me. But that was not the case yesterday, unfortunately for my last band with Western Sahara !! I spent almost 3 jours camped on 28.495, trying to catch any (even) short opening..But this opening didn't come in...

Today being the last day, I'm still hoping for some 10m activities i the late afternoon, depending on when they'll start dismantling their equipment...Who knows ????

And if not, then Western Sahara on 10m will be for the next time. But I'ml already pleased with my 80/40/20/17/15/12m QSO's in "full power" (500W PEP, new one one 80m), and 15/12m QRP QSO's, HI
