Hi all,
Very quiet propagation at this moment on the air..Not so many openings on the high bands, not so many new IOTA's (except next WE maybe for the IOTA contest...), not so many expeditions, except VK9NI.
I already have Norfolk on 20/17/15m, so I can not dream on 12/10m (we are still at the very bottom of the cycle !!!!!!!!!!)..So I can only expect QSO on the low bands...
Because of the summer propagation, 80m looks very difficult...
Norfolk sunrise = 19:39
Norfolk sunset = 06:03
My sunset = 19:55
My sunrise = 04:28
So on the low bands, I can expect some possibilities
- on my evening time starting from 19:00-19:30 until 20:15-20:30 (playing with greyline width)..Opening on 80m is almost impossible, since there is 16minutes of common daylight.
- on my morning, maybe on 40m long path (best time would be around 05:00-05:30...). But 80m would be impossible on my morning time (more than 1.5 hour of difference between my sunrise and their sunset)
This evening, they were spotted on 40m, at a "supposed" good time for me. But their signals were nil here.....I'll not give up, they are there for a week !
Good luck to all (Especially in West Europe !!!!!!)
Ronan
