Zone 27 on 40m, DX1J in the log

Hi all,

What a pile-up yesterday evening for DX1J on 40m. His signals were peaking to a real S9 here, so I let you imagine the size of the pile-up calling him. I tried a bit when he was listening up 5, then up 10, but CB'ers were still there !!!
I was only at around midnight (my local time) that I could get through, when he was listeniing up 10, working by numbers (definitely the best way to deal with a huge pile-up).

Earlier in the evening, at around 20:00 UTC, I een heard him on 80m, but very weak....First time I heard zone 27 there !!!!!

The day before, there was Christian, TL0A, on 80m, peaking S5 here, workable. I was on his freq from the beginning, but the big guns went through first, logically.
Then, when the real zoo started, he decided to listen...2KHz up. That's definitely too close from his TX freq on 80m. The KiloWatts race was there, occupying almost 5KHz !!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't hear him anymore..Hope to get him on 80m one day (already got him on 40/20/17/15m), but for sure, I'll need to be in the first ones !!!

Très contant de vous contacter sur 80. C'est vrai TL0A sur 80 s'était difficile avec le QRM. Pas de discipline des HAM operateur. C'est mieux sur les bandes CB !!! Pas de problèmes pour moi, si il y a beaucoup de QRM operateurs sur la freq. je terminer. Pour moi c'est une hobby pas quelque chose pour m'énerver !! Sorry pour mon Francais ! 73's ON6PV Wim
