DX'ing with QRP : VK3MO, Long-path 20m with 5W !

Hi all,

Nice one this morning on 20m long path. I heard VK3MO, Ian, starting to calli CQ with his stack of yagis (5 over 5 over 5 over 5 = 20 elements !). He was peaking 5/9 on my meter here, almost alone in a very quiet band.
I took my chance and replied him, succesfully !!!!!

Australia is not a new one in QRP for me. But this is the first long path QSO I made with VK and with 5W.

Maybe the Sunspot number = 11 this morning helped a bit ???? Hope this is a good sign for propagation improvmement !!!!!!!!!!
