QSO with HV0A on 80m : My last band !

Hi all,

Yesterday evening, I had some "non-ham" friends at home, and I didn't plan to be on the air.
While explaining them what a cluster is, I saw some HV0A spots on 80m, my last band for Vatican (I even got it already on 6m !)
I decided to make them some kind of demonstration and invited my friends in the shack.

First, I made them listen to HV0A, explaining the prefix of the call-sign was his QTH....They were impressed by the signal level (Fransesco was +10dB here !!!!!).
Then, I explained them what a split was, and made them listen to the ZOOOOOOOOOOOO between 5 to 10KHz up...They got scared, HI !!!!! "How can he hear someone ?????"

I decided to jump into the crowd and after a few calls (something about 5 minutes after), he replied to me, in French as usual  !!!!!!!

Short QSO, "F8AFC 5/9  merci", and that was it !!!!!!!!

I'll send him a direct QSL card : I also got him on 40m a few weeks ago, keeping the QSL card here while waiting for him on 80m, and that was yesterday !!!!!
