1 month without Internet access !!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Long time since I didn't come here to update my blog.
Simplte reason : My Internet line was KO, and it took one month for my Internet provider to repare it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From late April, I got many news...where to start?

- 6m openings : Yes, the Hexbeam does work on 6m too with the internal tuner of the FT-920. This is my very first season on 6m, and I already QSO with 21 DXCC...Mainly Europe, a few north African stations (EA9, CN8), and some nice skips to Scandinavia at this time of the day..Still waiting my very first trans-atlantic QSO on 6!!!! This really makes me think of a good mono-bander (4/5 elements, yagi or quad, do not know yet which one I'll choose). 50MHz DXCC is a new goal for me, HI !!!!

- HF2V : Ground plane is ready (40 radials of 10m each, more will be added later). I already started to mount the first elements up to the coils, and prepared a choke balun at its feedpoint. I will receive my 30m coxial cable (KX4) next week. So next week-end, I'll do my first tests for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- QSL in the mail : Not so many, but J5C for 20 up to 10m, including my QRP QSO's !

- New ones on some bands : I'm not in front of my log, but if my memory is correct
         OY9R on 12 and 15m (Thanks Otto for the QSY on 12m especially for me !!!!)
         JX9JKA on 17m
         MM0GPZ on 12 and 15m (Thanks Gordon for the special QSY on 15, new one for me there, and for the QSL I received directly 3 days after !!!!! My QSL is on the way to you !!!!!!)
         TF8GX on 10m (Thanks Gulli!). I now miss TF on 160/80 and 6m only !!!!
         OJ0J on 12m (my last band, if we don't consider 160 and 6m !)
         8P9 and ZP4 on 12m. I now have 8P9 on all bands from 20 to 10, and miss ZP4 on 10m only....
         And maybe a few more...

Anyway, the season is for "short distance" QSO's on the high bands, and one of my goal is to complete some holes there (I need ON on 15/12/10 and PA on 12/10m for example !!!!!).

If my Internet ljne keeps working, I'll update this blog more frequently of course !!!!!!!!!!!!!
