DX news : Spratly Isl, March 08

Ed, N1UR, who was recently active from Bhutan as A52UR, will be active as 9M6AAC from the Hillview Gardens ARC station in East Malaysia for the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) as a Single-Op/All-Band/Low-Power entry. QSL via N2OO. He also plans to be active from the Spratly Islands
(9M0) between March 22-30th.

A callsign has not yet been assigned, but activity will be on CW/SSB on 160-10 meters. QSL via K2RET. Ed now has a Web site set up for his Spratly operation at: http://www.n1urspratly.com/
Activity will be from Layang Layang Island Resort on Spratly Islands. Ed states, "This Spratly DXpedition will be a serious one, but with a small crew and light equipment. It will focus on the most needed bands in North America and Europe and will be an opportunity for many to work Spratly for the first time."
