3c7y : All time new one !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

This is becoming more and more rare for me that it's worth a few lines in my blog.
I did QSO with a "All time new one" today.
That was 3C7Y, equatorial Guinea, on 15m SSB, from Bioko Island AF-010.
That is my 272 DXCC.....in 18 months :-) , and of course a new IOTA (Date from which I put up my hexbeam)

I heard him very low yesterday evening on 20m, but couldn't get through...
Today, I spent a couple of hours in a 20 KHz split with my hundred watts and the HexBeam....When finally, just before giving up for today, he answered me !!!!!!

Then 2 days ago, he was spotted on 17m, end of afternoon here...What a fight, but I got a report from Elmo just before he QSY'ed !

And yesterday, I went back from office at noon to try to catch him on 20m..Believe it or not, the fight as not that big, for once (this is during week-time, so the bands are less crowdy !).

His last expedition was on 3C0M, Annobon Isl, which was also a very new one for me. I wprked him on 20/17/15m. 
I've already got 3C7Y on 20/17/15m, and hope to get them on higher bands during the WE....... ...

Addendum (Saurday, 13th) : Just got them on 12m, believe it or not, still with my 100W and the HexBeam. For once, they choose the proper time for EU opening on this band...Let's keep the fingers crossed so that they go on 10m...

GL to all, that's not an easy operation. A few advices :
- Always call on "precise" frequencies, such as 14.201-14202-14203, and avoid 14201.2 or 14202.6
- Try to call giving your call number and suffixe in spanish
- At last, but not least, respect all the pile-up rules !

When he says up 5 to 10, he often listens up 7 or up 8 (less noisy than up 5 or up 10). This si where I got him all 3 times (Stil with 100W and a hexbeam !!!!)

What a shame !!! Is it an expedition made by EA for EA and Italy???? They must be at least 90% of 3C7Y log !!!!!! No chance for other ones, except if you have some 5 elements monobander and a KW !!!!!! I feel lucky to have QSO with this new one for me on 15m, only because I called in Spanish !!!!!!!
I tried the same on 17 and 20m, but NADA !!!! And hearing my frequency (on which I'm sure he was listening), I was the only one calling !!!!!!!! What does it mean? This is not Ham spirit !!!!!!!!!!!!!
