After 3B7SP, a new team is going to St-Brandon Isl next September : Call sign will be 3B7C, the site is available here :
www.3b7c.com/
Let's hope the propagation will be OK (I need 3B7 on 10 meters.....since I've QSO with 3B7SP on 20/17/15 and 12m SSB))
For West-Europe, (with a f
orecast assuming 1.5 kW and 4-element Yagi at 20m high), best chance would be from about 16:00z to 17:00z...
For more modest equipped stations, 16:00z seems to be the best time...There would be almost no chance for stations using 100W and a dipole at 10m high.
I definitely need my linear to be repaired, and my HexBeam to do a good job this day !!!!
In any case, I really have to think more seriously about my low band-antennas for at least 40 and 80m.
I'm still hesitating between a vertical with short radials (max 10m long) and a trapped dipole at 45 feet high...Any ideas ?
