Hi all,

In order to add some challenge for the new year, I decided to start the CQ Marathon in the Formula 1 category (power less than 10W, and restricted antenna, which is my case).

Goal is very simple : contact as many CQ zones and as many DXCC, whatever the mode/band is, and add both scores at the end of the year.

I've started last 1st of January and already logged some good ones with 5 Watts : DU9, KH6, KL7, 9M8, FO5, YS1, VE7, VK6, YB0, ZS6, ZL1, 3B8, XU7, VU2, etc etc !!!!!!

I'll update frequently (let's say once a week or so) my score here... I guess the score here below is very close to the final one, the latest QRP DXCC being JD1BMH from JD1/o this morning on CW.

As of 31st of December2011 :

I must admit that this is fun to work some exotic places with small power, but this challenge requires a long effort, an almost everyday monitoring on the bands, tons of patience and a bit a luck. Therefore, I may not repeat this next year (or maybe in full power mode).
